Cookies, Advertising & Analytics

WorldCupQuiz uses Google AdSense (including DoubleClick technology) to display advertisements. Google and its partners use cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites across the internet. This is known as interest-based or behavioral advertising. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via Google's Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com) or the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page. We also use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with our site. Google Analytics collects data such as pages visited, time spent on site, and general location (country/city level). Sports data provider — live match data. No user data is shared with this service.

Database hosting provider (Supabase) — stores quiz scores and nicknames. Data is stored in the EU.

Data Retention

Scores and nicknames are stored indefinitely in our database to maintain leaderboard history. If you wish to have your data deleted, please contact us.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing contact@worldcupquiz.com. We will respond within 30 days.
